Ready for the Holidays? North Pole Postmark Now Available

Once again this year, the U.S. Postal Service is offering a free North Pole postmark on holiday mail. To get the postmark, all you have to do is mail your stamped and addressed holiday cards and letters in a larger envelope, box, Priority Mail, or Express Mail package to:

Requests must be received in Anchorage by Tuesday, December 10, in order to ensure delivery by Christmas. This service is provided at no cost. Each card or letter must be addressed and have the correct amount of postage.

Many communities around the country also have local programs set up to respond to letters to Santa Claus. In North Pole, Alaska, letters to Santa may be sent to 1 Santa Claus Ln, North Pole AK 99705-9901. Check with your local Post Office or call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) for the program nearest you.
